Etc/GMT

On August 22, 2008, IWIS group starts a series of research seminars intended especially for PhD and Master students. The seminar will take place ones in every 4 weeks. The seminar topic is World Wide Web. Each PhD student, master student and reasearch assistant (participants) selects a sub topic within the main seminar theme. The topic will be discussed on the seminar. The participants get assigned papers within the topic of interest. The rule of thumb is that the topic is slightly different from everyday project work. They will read papers and prepare a seminar presentation.

IWIS seminar -Paper writing

01/01/1970 - 00:00

I suggest Peter give a presentation on paper writing at our seminar. Because he has a long paper list, including the top rank conference papers such as WWW, he is certainly skilled at writing high quality papers. If he can share his experience on how to do best research and how to write high quality papers, we will progress fast, I think.
