new EU FP7 project idSpace launched

New EU FP7 STREP project idSpace: Tooling of and training for collaborative, distributed product innovation has started on April 1 2008. The project will research pedagogical models for learning of creativity and innovation outcomes as well as how to perform creativity. Furthermore, it will study context aware combination of creativity techniques, as well as semantic preservation of the idea generation when using them. Transformation between the techniques is one of the goals as wel. It will deliver a demonstration of tool box which should support above mentioned pedagogical approaches and technology on the web for distributed teams. The toolbox will be tested in authentic cases of industry partners. Researchers, developers, and project managers from 9 institutes from the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Greece and Cyprus will meet at idSpace project kick off meeting on April 9-10 2008 in Heerlen (the Netherlands).
