On August 22, 2008, IWIS group starts a series of research seminars intended especially for PhD and Master students. The seminar will take place ones in every 4 weeks. The seminar topic is World Wide Web. Each PhD student, master student and reasearch assistant (participants) selects a sub topic within the main seminar theme. The topic will be discussed on the seminar. The participants get assigned papers within the topic of interest. The rule of thumb is that the topic is slightly different from everyday project work. They will read papers and prepare a seminar presentation.
IWIS Seminar continues with a second meeting. Last time we have agreed that the seminar topic for this semster is knowledge representation on the web. Please collect papers and pointers as updates of this post. The seminar will take place on 28 April.
